Sacramental Preparation
This week, the children in Year 3 began their First Holy Communion preparation with a Commitment Mass with Year 6 and a meeting for all of their parents. They all looked fantastic in their uniforms on Sunday and they proudly made their promises. The parents who attended the meeting were asked to rememeber their own First Holy Communion and the preparation they went through. It is an exciting time and the children are all eager to begin their 'I Belong' homework.

To the children in Year 3.
We also had a mass of commitment where we stood infront of the Parish and our parents promised to support and help us.
We have already made our first confession and we would like to help you as you prepare for yours.
We have lots of questions for you and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Year 6 think you are very brave standing up in front of all those people to make your promises. Year 3 make their First Confession in February 2009. Will you be visiting Alton Castle this year? Year 3 have just booked their retreat to Peckwood.
